Description
Spring is baby season and this time it’s a young raccoon.
This one gave quite a show, giving different poses, faces and plenty of personality!
This one is about 2.5 months old. How do I know? Because raccoons don’t develop their signature black mask until then.
Young raccoons are also called kits (like foxes) and will stay with their mom for about 10-12 months to learn how to climb and hunt.
This one wasn’t alone because I had seen its curious and foraging sibling down the pathway moments earlier.
